I drove back to school today.

I’ll go ahead and say that there is no way I could make the 7 hour drive home without listening to music. I have listened to the same playlist in my car for too long, so I decided to make a new one!

Music has played a significant role in my life ever since I was 10 years old. At that age, I was a Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana fanatic; like many of the other girls in my grade, I mainly listened to Disney musicians. When I started middle school, my dad introduced me to some new artists. I started listening to Evanescence, Flyleaf, original Avril Lavigne, and Paramore. I realized that I really loved rock and punk pop music. From there, I branched out even more; I started going to concerts with my friends and discovering more music. Now, I listen to pop, punk pop, rock, metal, alternative, rap, hip hop… you name it. (Except for country. I don’t really like country.)

Here’s the playlist.

The playlist I created is a 9 hour long hybrid of many different genres. It contains everything from The Beatles to Lorde to Bring Me the Horizon. I think there’s something for everyone in this playlist, so I encourage you to give it a listen and see what you think. (Note: You may have to have a Spotify account to listen to it, but you can create one for free here.)

Here’s a list of all the artists on the playlist (in alphabetical order):
