College is a rollercoaster. We pull all-nighters and spend hours studying to pass our classes, we experience exciting new things with friends, and we ponder what to do with our lives after graduation. With school, work, friends, and blogging, I have a lot on my plate. And I know I’m not the only college student who struggles trying to balance it all.

Fortunately, college has taught me a thing or two about time management and life management. One important thing I’ve learned is that being prepared is the key to success. It’s never a bad thing to be over prepared! To help both myself and my fellow college students, I’ve created a college survival kit so I can make sure I’m ready for the ups and downs of student life.

Check out what I included in my kit below:

  1. Advil® Liqui-Gels® minis

Those long nights of studying can give me major headaches. Thankfully, Advil® Liqui-Gels® minis are there to rescue me! If you’re busy like me, you probably know how hard it can be to relieve minor aches or pains in a jiffy. Advil® Liqui-Gels® minis do the trick! They’re fantastic for quick pain relief on the go, and they’re powerful enough to work for those stubborn headaches, muscle aches, and joint pains. In a new, more compact size, Advil® Liqui-Gels® minis are much easier to swallow and carry in my purse. This is an essential for your college survival kit.

  1. Advil® Menstrual Pain Relief

As a woman, I know how awful menstrual pain can be. Sometimes, the cramps get so bad that they impair my daily functioning. Fortunately, Advil® makes a product specifically for menstrual pain!

Advil® Menstrual Pain targets time-of-the-month pain. It works amazingly compared to competing brands when it comes to soothing those pesky cramps! For me, Advil® Menstrual Pain Relief is such an essential for my college survival kit because it helps me to enjoy my day even when Mother Nature strikes.

I picked up both of the Advil products that I used in my kit at Target. They were located in the “Pain Relief” section on aisle D19.

  1. Tampons

Tampons are always handy to keep with you. I wrapped mine in a little plastic bag tied with a ribbon to keep them organized and together. (You can do the same thing with pads if you prefer.) Carry these around with you, even if it’s not your time of the month. You can help a girlfriend out if she needs a tampon!

  1. Mini deodorant

Deodorant is one of those things that comes in handy at the most unexpected times. You might put some on in the morning and think you’ll be good for the rest of the day, but beware! Your car might break down, and you might be stuck on the side of the road in the blazing heat for hours. (I know firsthand.) That’s one of those times when a mini deodorant stick would come in handy!

  1. Mini mouthwash

Like the mini deodorant, this mini mouthwash is the perfect size to fit in your purse for easy access. If you’re like me and enjoy salt and vinegar chips, keeping a mini mouthwash with you only makes sense.

  1. Healthy snacks

When hunger strikes, you will be much happier if you have a couple of healthy snacks with you. Here, I have put some cashews and cranberry granola chews into little bags and tied them with ribbons to secure them. I don’t trust the zippers on plastic bags, so I opt to tie mine instead to ensure that the contents of the bag will not spill into my purse. Plus it looks cute!

  1. A cute notepad

Keeping a notepad with you is an absolute essential. You never know when you’ll need to write down due dates, assignments, or other important information. In particular, I like carrying this adorable one with me because I’m much more likely to write in a notepad if it’s cute.

  1. Writing utensils

How are you going to write anything down without writing utensils? I mainly carry pens with me, but pencils are handy too because you can make more mistakes with them.

  1. A highlighter wheel

Isn’t this highlighter wheel the most adorable thing? It has five different highlighter colors in one! It’s so convenient for studying and editing papers. I like this wheel because it eliminates the clutter of having five separate highlighters in my purse. And the caps on this wheel are secure, so it gets an A+ from me. Nothing irks me more than highlighter stains on the interior of my purse! This highlighter wheel eliminates that problem.

  1. An extra phone charger

I can’t stress how essential it is to carry a phone charger around with you. If your phone dies as quickly as mine does, you probably understand the struggle of being phone-less because your device ran out of battery. Just carry an extra charger (or even a portable charger) around with you, and you’ll always stay connected.

  1. A cute clutch!

A cute purse is the perfect finishing touch to any outfit. I like this clutch because it’s small enough to carry with me, but large enough to fit all of my essentials! It adds a fun pop of color to every outfit I wear it with.
